What specifications define a transformer oil testing kit?

A testing kit is defined by which parameters it can measure and the standards it follows. Typical kit specifications include BDV range and electrode geometry, moisture measurement method and accuracy, temperature compensation, repeatability, sample handling requirements, and calibration process. Some kits include acidity, interfacial tension, or portable DGA screening. Utilities also look for ruggedness, safety interlocks, data logging, and compliance with IEC or ASTM methods.
