BDV oil refers to transformer oil tested for Breakdown Voltage – a key property that reflects its ability to insulate under high electric stress. A BDV of ? 60 kV is considered safe. Fluidex oil purifiers restore BDV by removing moisture, gases, and particles, helping prevent insulation failure.
