X-ray transformers operate at very high voltages (100-150 kV) and require highly stable dielectric oil. Often they use silicone or synthetic insulating fluids. Purification must be done carefully. Fluidex equipment can purify even heat-sensitive oils under low-temperature, high-vacuum settings.
