Transformer Oil Purification Machine – FLD 26.4D

Transformer Oil Purification FLD 26.4D is recognized for dielectric oil treatment having a 50 ppm moisture content and a dissolved gas content of approx. 10% by volume before being treated.

  • Description

    The FLD 26.4D machine is recognized for dielectric oil treatment having a 50 ppm moisture content and a dissolved gas content of approx. 10% by volume before being treated.

    Parameters of the treated oil after one pass through the machine:

    • maximum temperature – 80°C;
    • moisture content –  less than 5 ppm;
    • dissolved gas content – approximately 0.1% (or less) by volume;
    • breakdown voltage – excess of 75 kV.

    Under the same conditions an oil at 20 ppm will go out at 3 (or less) ppm after one pass.

    The above figures are reached with oils having a 10-2 mbar distillation curve at a temperature of 80° C.

    Principle of operation

    The dielectric fluid enters the system through the inlet strainer, then enters the oil heater where it is heated by immersion heaters. After being finely filtered on a 25 micron cartridge, the dielectric fluid enters a vacuum chamber where it is atomized through filter activators. Finally, after the removal of contaminants, the clean treated liquid is pumped out by an oil pump and flows through the finishing filter, meter and outlet valve to the outlet of the machine.

    FLD 26.4D oil purifiers with a two-stage vacuum system can be used in the energy sector and other industries for filtering, drying, and deep degassing of the following types of dielectric fluids:

    • transformer oils;
    • silicone oils;
    • Midel 7131 dielectric fluids;
    • FR3 fluids.

    Additionally, FLD 26.4D oil purifiers can be used for heating transformer oil, filling oil into a transformer under vacuum, or vacuuming the transformer.

    Performance adjustment of the vacuum pump is executed with a regulator on the control panel by means of a valve with an electric drive. Visual monitoring of the flow rate is by the flow meter indicator

    Performance adjustment of the vacuum pump is executed by setpoint selecting at the control panel screen for maintaining the level in the vacuum column. Setpoint is kept constant by means of a valve with an electric drive. Pump operation is smooth throughout the entire control range. There is a digital meter to control oil flow
