What is the standard BDV value of transformer oil?

For oil in service, acceptable breakdown voltage is typically ?30 kV (2.5 mm gap, IEC method). New oil usually exceeds 60 kV. BDV values below limits indicate moisture or contamination and require filtration or replacement.
