What is the transformer oil manufacturing process?

Transformer oil is produced by refining crude oil through distillation, solvent extraction, hydro-treatment, and filtration. These steps remove moisture, sulfur, aromatics, and impurities. The finished oil is then tested for dielectric strength, oxidation stability, viscosity, acidity, and compliance with IEC or ASTM standards before release.
