An oil regeneration plant restores aged oil by removing oxidation byproducts, acids, sludge precursors, moisture, and gases. It combines vacuum dehydration, degassing, and adsorption using clay or special media. This process improves interfacial tension, reduces acidity, restores dielectric strength, and lowers dielectric losses. Regeneration allows reuse of oil instead of replacement, extending transformer life and reducing environmental impact.
