A transformer oil regeneration system operates by first heating the oil to reduce its viscosity. It then filters out solid contaminants and uses vacuum pressure to remove moisture and gases. The oil is passed through adsorbent materials (like activated clay) to eliminate acids, sludge, and oxidation products. The oil is tested for dielectric strength and, once fully regenerated, is returned to the transformer, restoring its insulating and cooling properties.
