A conservator oil level gauge measures oil expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes. It indicates whether oil volume remains within safe limits and helps identify leaks or abnormal operating conditions. By isolating oil from ambient air, the conservator system also reduces moisture ingress and oxidation.
