Cost is calculated from the supplier unit price plus logistics and compliance costs. Convert by density: cost per ton depends on the oil’s kg per liter. For example, delivered price may be quoted per liter in drums or per metric ton in bulk. Add transport, packaging, testing certificates, and any import duties. For a project total, multiply by required volume including allowances for conservator level, filling losses, and flushing. If replacing oil, include costs for draining, temporary storage, filtration or regeneration, sampling, and disposal fees for contaminated or PCB suspect oil.
