How to perform a BDV oil test of a transformer after filtration?

After filtration, take an oil sample using a sealed kit and test in a BDV chamber with a 2.5 mm electrode gap. Apply voltage gradually until breakdown. A reading above 60 kV indicates clean oil. Fluidex systems include inline sampling valves and optional BDV kits.
