    Yes, oil regeneration is often the preferred method for extending the life of old transformers. Fluidex regeneration units use clay filtration, vacuum dehydration, and acidity neutralization to restore aging oil. When combined with dissolved gas removal, the oil can match new oil specifications (IEC 60296). Utilities and large plants save significantly by regenerating rather than replacing thousands of liters of oil.
