HyVolt II is a mineral based insulating oil intended for oil immersed electrical equipment where the fluid provides dielectric insulation and heat transfer. Typical applications include distribution and power transformers, regulators, switchgear, and related oil filled apparatus that specify mineral insulating oil meeting common quality requirements such as ASTM D3487. Product variants may target improved oxidation stability and low temperature performance depending on the grade.
