Naphtha-based transformer oil is characterized by low viscosity and excellent low-temperature performance, which improves oil circulation and cooling in cold climates. It does not form wax, reducing the risk of sludge precipitation at low temperatures. However, it may have lower oxidation resistance at high operating temperatures, so oxidation inhibitors are often added to improve long-term stability and service life.
