An oil-cooled transformer includes the magnetic core, high- and low-voltage windings, cellulose paper insulation, transformer oil, steel tank, radiators or coolers, conservator, silica gel breather, bushings, tap changer, and protection devices. The oil provides insulation and heat removal, while auxiliary systems manage thermal expansion, moisture ingress, pressure control, and long-term operational reliability.
