The industry-standard transformer oil filtration procedure includes heating, degassing, fine filtration, and vacuum dehydration. Fluidex units automate this process, ensuring the oil reaches proper BDV (Breakdown Voltage) and low water content. For repaired transformers, this step is critical before re-energizing – otherwise, internal insulation can break down under load. Many service contractors now carry mobile Fluidex filtration units to perform this procedure directly on site.
