A filtration plant is used to process large volumes of insulating oil for dehydration, degassing, and particulate removal, either during commissioning, after maintenance, or as corrective action when tests show degraded oil. It improves BDV, reduces moisture, stabilizes dielectric losses, and can extend transformer life by reducing stress on paper insulation. Plants can be mobile for field work or fixed in workshops. Performance is verified by pre and post sampling and standard tests.
