Power transformer oil analysis checks breakdown voltage moisture acidity dielectric dissipation factor resistivity interfacial tension and dissolved gases. Additional tests may include particle count oxidation stability sludge content and furan analysis. Together these parameters assess oil condition insulation health and fault development.
